The basic challenges that are faced by Ivan Infotech are as follows –

• Manual Processes: The existing system relied heavily on manual processes for managing employee and contractor access, leading to inefficiencies and security vulnerabilities.
• Fragmented Systems: Lack of integration between the access control system and the SAP ECC ERP and HCM systems, resulting in data silos and inconsistencies.
• Security Concerns: The company needed a more secure and reliable system to manage access for a large workforce, including both employees and contractors.
• Compliance Requirements: Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal policies was a critical requirement.

Ivan provided a 360-degree approach to the Access Control facility and Contract Labour Management System (CLMS) along with the integration with the existing ERP, HRMS & Payroll software.

Our objective is to recover maximum pain points and provide a secured, customizable software solution so that admin or respective employees can manage terminals and other processes from a single platform.

At the same time, we want to provide a seamless registration process to manage the contractor and contractor’s labour and their activity tracking along with a set of rules. We made the system in that way so that it can handle large data sets very easily. Chosen Technology stack and architecture helped us in this matter.

We have provided a dynamic form builder and migrated 16 forms into 2 forms, keeping all other 14 forms’ capability and it’s functionality/activity. All data are integrated with existing SAP ERP.

Realtime/Almost real-time communication and Data Command to IoT Devices were established. Smart Batch Job Operation was controlled. Realtime Android TV Data Stream.

All RESTful APIs are highly available.

The system is fully scalable, still, now we are still enhancing system capability. All challenges are fulfilled within 4 months of transition and 1 year of development.

By partnering with Ivan Infotech, the manufacturing company successfully implemented a comprehensive IoT-based access control and contractor labour management system. The overall procedure include – 

1. IoT-based Access Control System:

• Smart ID Cards and Biometrics: Implemented smart ID cards and biometric devices for secure access control.
• Real-Time Monitoring: Enabled real-time monitoring of access points using IoT sensors and devices.
• Centralized Control: Established a centralized control system for managing access permissions and monitoring activities.

2. Integration with SAP ECC ERP and HCM:

• Data Synchronization: Developed custom APIs to ensure seamless data synchronization between the IoT-based access control system and the SAP ECC ERP and HCM systems.
• Single Sign-On (SSO): Implemented SSO to provide unified access to all systems with a single set of credentials.

3. Enhanced Security Measures:

4. Contractor Labour Management System (CLMS):
